Known bugs :

  • You'll need to refresh the bookmarks if you were not signed in your Google Account when Firefox started. SOLVED in 0.1.5
  • You'll need to refresh the bookmarks in order to see the changes when the bookmarks or labels are modified. SOLVED in 0.3
  • Labels are not sorted alphabetically (just the bookmarks inside). SOLVED in 0.1.5
  • If a bookmark has notes it uses them as the bookmark title (it happens also in the Google feed used in the extension, so it's not my fault). SOLVED: Thanks Google! That was fast!
  • Not showing special characters correctly. Almost SOLVED in 0.1.5 (but maybe I forgot some characters)
  • Seems to have some problems when using long URLs in the bookmarks SOLVED in 0.3
  • The annotations can be lost when you drag and drop a bookmark. SOLVED in 0.3
  • Seems to hang up Firefox if the net is under a proxy connection (any hint on how to solve that?).

ToDo List:

  • Allow to choose a compact version of the button
  • Show a message in the menu if the user isn't signed into his/her Google Account
  • Remove bookmarks, add/rename/remove labels, etc. directly from the extension like the IE button (if you know how to do that, please contact me)
  • Drag & drop bookmarks to assign them to labels (only possible if I can achieve the previous one)
  • Favicons on the bookmarks
  • Import Firefox Bookmarks into Google Bookmarks.
  • Copy bookmark to a label (not just move)

Suggestions by users (currently not in the ToDo plans)

  • Open in Tabs all the bookmarks in a label
  • Group the unlabeled bookmarks under one folder
  • Synchronization with Firefox Bookmarks (not until Places comes to FF)
